Message Steel - $330 + $60 core
Aluminum - $340 + $60 core

I was originally told by some rep there that they didn't have steel ones for the TT, but I searched and found that Chris(NJ) had one, so I called back and spoke directly to John. He said that the steel ones weren't much cheaper ($10) because they essentially had to custom make each one since they normally only carry the aluminum for the TT. He also said that they didn't balance the steel ones for some reason.
I could be wrong, but it sounded like they were just trying to sell me on an aluminum one - like they wanted nothing to do with the steel one. Anyway, at that price, I'm not buying right now because it's a lot cheaper just to R&R the center bearing.
As if that weren't enough, they were out of some part that they needed to make any of the TT driveshafts (steel or aluminum) and said that it would be 3-4 weeks before they would get the parts needed.
Bummer. I bet Powertrain could make a lot of money if they offered a less expensive (~$200) steel version. Just my opinion of course.
